Testimonials
I thought mama boot camp was for young mama's! Thank goodness I was wrong. It's for all ages, shapes and sizes. I origianlly joined in support of my daughter who had just given birth. I really wanted to be there for her, but the more I went to "camp" the more I loved it. I truly found it hard to believe that I would love exercise, but all things are possible. What I love about it is the ease of the work-out , the instructors and all the other "campers". Everyone is so supportive and we are truly having a fun time together. Everyone shares ideas on healthy eating and recipes. The very best outcome for me has been that I have dropped so many inches; I'm now working out of the "other" closet and wearing clothes that I haven't worn in a long while. Plus, I'm now OFF my blood pressure medication! Sure surprized my Doctor!! I'm committed to continuing this program, it's the only one I've ever stuck with this long (7 months) and everyone has noticed the new me!

Just want to thank you for your phone call. You have such a wonderful way about you. I wish I could bottle and sell your attitude, 'friskiness', beauty...all of you. I'd be wealthy in so many ways. You lifted my spirits and make me want to cry because you are such a beautiful person. Thanks.

Thank you for the phone message today. Last Tuesday, I was so proud to be a part of this group of phenomenal women, I almost cried. It sounds silly, and it's hard to describe in writing, but we were being timed for our mile, and I was running behind a short woman with a big booty—I don't know her name. She just kept chugging along, and I know it was hard for her because I'm sure she hasn't been at boot camp for long. She didn't give up, she kept going and trying and I felt so proud to be a part of her group, I totally teared up. I was telling a friend who runs marathons about that moment, and she says she understands my being emotional (I teared up again when I was telling her and I felt silly.) She said other than giving birth to her, she's never felt as close to her daughter and never cried so hard as she did when she finished a marathon with her daughter. I just want to thank you for all of these wonderful experiences that I've had since I met you in September. I am forever a changed-for-the-better woman. Thank you.

When it comes to getting fit and healthy, I knew what I should be doing, eat less, move more, but for some reason, I took the path of least resistance and before long the pounds start piling on. In my case, I used the excuse that since I’m on the road every week, it’s impossible to eat healthy so I indulged in fast food and anything salty! It didn’t take long for those meal deals to catch up with me and one day I found myself having to shop in the plus size section. What a shock and of course, the humiliation! That same week, I was at my manicure appointment and my manicurist mentioned to me that she was feeling so much better since she’s been attending Lorri Ann’s boot camp, she kept going on and on about how fit and strong her body has become. Needless to say, it was the longest manicure appointment of my life. On my way out of the salon that day, my manicurist handed me Lorri Ann’s card and suggested I call her; I thought maybe I should call the number to get this “fit and healthy” person off my back. When I finally gathered the courage to call Lorri Ann, I was pleasantly surprised because she didn’t start preaching to me about what I should be doing, instead, she suggested that I attend one boot camp to see if I like it.
When I showed up for my first boot camp, I was expecting to meet Stepford Wives in matching outfits with perfectly sculpted bodies but I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by several boot campers who were of various shape and sizes and at different stages of fitness. They welcomed me and shared their success stories and encouraged me to not give up and just give boot camp a chance. They all said the same thing, “just do what Lorri Anne says and you’ll see the results.” The first weeks of boot camp were extremely difficult for me since I hadn’t moved my body in years. Not only did I have to get use to moving my body everyday, I also had to get use to the taste and texture of healthy, fresh, nutritious foods. It took me about a month for my mouth and body to work as one and soon I had my healthy, clean eating regimen down. On the second week of boot camp, Lorri Ann suggested that I join her and other boot campers for a morning swim. Wait a minute! I’m not a swimmer, I can’t fit into a bathing suit, I don’t want to get up early and swim in the dark! So I said, OK, I’ll try swimming. The first time in the pool it took me 45 minutes to swim 10 laps, I was exhausted, I couldn’t breath and I remember Lorri Ann standing at the side of the pool, smiling at me and encouraging me to swim just one more lap. As the weeks progressed and my stamina increased, I was able to swim 25 laps in 45 minutes. Now I can swim 70 laps in 50 minutes, not bad for someone who’s not a swimmer. Before I knew it, I completed my first 12 weeks of boot camp and my body was feeling great. I had muscles that I hadn’t seen in years, my endurance increased and I lost a total of 49 inches and two pant sizes. I was so pleased with my results that I decided to enroll in a second 12 week session. I have now lost a total of five pant sizes, my body is toned, my arms and legs look great, I no longer have high blood pressure or high cholesterol and I’m actually considering training for a triathlon. I accomplished this without any diet pills or fad diets, just doing what Lorri Anne told me to do week after week and now I’m living with the amazing results!
My goal when I started boot camp was simple, I wanted to feel better and get back into shape. Not only do I feel better, I feel great and my body fit and trim! I realized that I chose to be unhealthy, now I choose to be healthy, the choice is mine. My advice to anyone who wants to get back into shape and lead a healthy life is to pick up the telephone and call Lorri Ann and experience her enthusiasm for health and happiness. You can then decide if boot camp is for you, the choice is yours!

Thank you Lorri Ann for all your help, inspiration, enthusiasm and support. You have taken me from someone who dreaded exercise to one who looks forward to 7 am Saturday morning bootcamp! You have really inspired me to take time out for myself and to become a stronger and healthier person. I can't thank you enough!

After having four children, I had truly let myself go in many different ways—not just physically (going from a former collegiate soccer player to being just plain out of shape and bogged down in baby weight)—my struggle was inside as well. Lorri Ann just sparks something in you...the part of you that has been let go, forgotten, pushed aside as you get buried with neverending to-do list of life as a mom. It's very easy to put yourself last. Lorri Ann helped me see what I already knew but was too exhausted to even do anything about...that taking time for yourself and your health makes you a better person, mom, wife, and woman. Now, I have more energy, and after one bootcamp I lost over 20 inches and am halfway to my weight loss goal of 30 pounds. The best part for me was the camaraderie between all the women and seeing Lorri Ann spark that special something in each and every one of us. I am grateful on behalf of every mom that is fortunate to know her.

When I first met Lorri Ann, I was looking to lose some weight and improve my overall health. I had been running for over a year, but realized I really needed to add some strength training and learn to eat better. I have never been to the gym and didn’t have the first idea how to start adding weights to my workouts. I have read books and magazines but I could never figure out how to follow the instructions. Hiring a personal trainer seemed like a luxury for the rich and famous—not a busy mother of 2. A friend of mine talked me into joining one of Lorri Ann’s bootcamps, but with my crazy schedule it never worked out. However, Lorri Ann agreed to come to my house at the only time that I had free—Tuesday mornings at 5:30 a.m. I thought she was a little crazy to agree to come to my house at that incredibly early hour, let alone workout in my messy garage, but she showed up.
I figured she would kick my butt for an hour every week and maybe I’d learn a little about how to eat right and lift weights, but I was terribly wrong. Working out with Lorri Ann has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life and one of the very few things that I have done, especially as a mother, to take care of myself. Although the workouts are tough, I feel refreshed, renewed and ready to face another week once I’m done. Lorri Ann has customized my workouts to make them challenging while being mindful of the limited time I have to exercise. She has shown me how to correctly do each exercise and creates these great multitasking exercises so that I can get a great workout without having to spend half my day working out—and everything she has me do I can do in my home with hand weights, bands, an exercise ball and a little creativity. She has also given me the tools I need to change my diet and to make permanent, healthy lifestyle changes for me and my family. Every time I see her, she gives me a new article or suggestion for easy diet changes to cut calories, boost energy and just be a healthier me.
Having said all that, I think the greatest thing about Lorri Ann is not something I can put into words. Lorri Ann is an incredible woman who is extremely positive, motivating and inspiring. My workouts with her are part exercise and part therapy. She has inspired me to be a better person and to see what an amazing woman I am. Every woman deserves to make time for themselves and what better way to do that than to be around someone who truly makes you feel good about yourself. I think especially for anyone who is trying to lose weight and get into shape, it is easy to get caught up in what we see in the mirror or the number on the scale. Lorri Ann has never once made me feel self conscious about my appearance or weight. She has only focused on what an incredible woman I am and the progress I have made. As I said, it is hard to put into words, so you will just have to meet her to know what I mean.

I am very excited with my successes after the mommy bootcamp. I lost 25 inches, 11 pounds and 8% body fat. My biggest motivation however was dropping one full dress size. It took me 12 weeks to get back to the size I wore 4 years ago. I am so happy with my progress, I signed up for round two!

I highly recommend Lorri Ann as a trainer. I signed up for her 12-week bootcamp and got more out of it than I ever expected. I went from 152 pounds to 132 pounds, and I look and feel so much better. Although we only met once a week, Lorri Ann encouraged us to contact her throughout the week, which I did regularly when I was having challenges. She had us fill out and turn in "code enforcers" on a weekly basis that had what we'd eaten and what exercises we'd done, then she would review them and return them the following week with comments. I always looked forward to reading her encouraging comments and seeing red stars when I was on the right track. She has a kind heart and truly cares about the people she works with. I hope you have the opportunity to work with her and experience that first hand.

Lorri Ann helped me take my life back. With her help, I went from 165 lbs down to 123, and I've maintained my goal weight since January, '08! She taught me to value my health and my strength, and how to make eating right and staying active a lifestyle rather than a temporary diet. This new perspective helped me overcome other obstacles in my life, like quitting smoking for good. She helped me believe in myself, be kind to myself, and love myself again. I feel 10 years younger, at least, and I'm not feeling so bad about being a single mom now. I have the energy to be super mom, and I have the self-esteem to take my time on my quest for Prince Charming. The other ladies in Boot Camp were also quite inspiring. Sharing stories of struggles and victories while warming up, and the updates each week as we got closer to our goals really motivated all of us. I've made some friends for life, and I'm also very proud to call Lorri Ann my friend. My boot camp was over last fall, but I still get a phone call from her every once in a while to check in—and it always seems to be the day when I'm contemplating eating something really unhealthy. One call from Lorri Ann, and I'm dropping the onion blossom. I really think she's psychic sometimes! One thing's for sure: she is wonderful at what she does. With her help, I am proud to say I have found my mojo!

I started a fitness bootcamp nearly 12 weeks ago. She is an AMAZING woman and my experience with her bootcamp has been exactly what I needed. Lorri Ann worked with me individually to set and attain my goals. I was able to lose 5% body fat, and 28 total inches; 3 around my chest, 5 around my waist! and another 3 in my hips. I also lost 2 inches in each thigh! Results will vary for everyone, but this was a great place to start. I have since set new goals and will be working hard to achieve them. What ever your fitness needs may be Lorriann can help you make it happen.
She is extremely qualified not only as a personal trainer, but also as a life coach and is always available to help you. Each bootcamp runs $300 for the full 12 weeks, but I calculated just the training hours of bootcamp, and at her regular personal training fee, the value is over $1000, so these bootcamps are a real steal! I can not tell you how awesome of an experience this has been for me. My energy level has stabilized, I no longer "crash" in the afternoon, but can make it through my day. I don't crave sugar anymore, and I have a very clear plan for what my fitness routine needs to look like. I attained them all my goals! I know how hard it is no matter what your circumstances to put your health and fitness near the top of your priority list, but the benefits are overwhelming! You owe it to yourself to call! Don't make any excuses! She wants to help you and will work with whatever your obstacles are. DO IT! YOU'LL BE SO GLAD YOU DID!

I wanted to write and express my deepest appreciation for you all. You have changed my life forever. Before Mama Bootcamp, I was overweight and unhealthy. Now, I have more energy, I'm losing not only weight and inches but body fat as well. This has been a truly amazing experience and I am so thankful. What a true 'Gift' this has been.
I look forward to continuing my journey with you all for the next 3 months. Whoo Hoo! God Bless you.

I just wanted to extend a very sincere thanks for lifting me up when I needed it most. Through you I have learned to stay strong and take care of myself so that I can take care of those that depend upon me for guidance. I got caught up in moving and had a very tough time skipping bootcamp to take care of important things like moving my family into a new home. It was hard work and I do not look forward to moving again, but know that I will have to do it again at least one more time, when I find a home to purchase. Despite it being tough to leave the home I loved, it is more healing to have closure because of the circumstances and the timing is right so that I can once again move forward.
You are an awesome lady and I think so highly of you and the mark felt by those lucky enough to be training with such a highly energetic and positive role model. You Rock, Loriann! I will miss your camps, and you are right -- We all CAN DO IT!! I found my Mojo thanks to you!!!
