mojo stories…Kathy and Kailee C.

We love the friends we have made and how the Mamas encourage each other.

I started Mama Bootcamp about a year ago after getting bored with the gym. I had been a member for a brief stint a few years before, but did not make the commitment I should have at that time. The gym just didn't inspire me, and the classes were so packed you could hardly move. I remembered how good it felt when I was doing Mama Bootcamp and decided it was time to make the commitment.

My 16 year-old daughter Kailee saw how much I enjoyed it, and realized the benefits physically and mentally, and wanted to join too. Her stepmother was also attending at the time and we decided to split her membership fees. Kailee still attends with me when she can and has seen great results also. I have to say she listens to Lorri Ann more than me! She is also on her swim team in high school, so she is getting quite a workout between the two.

I was not a runner before, but Mama Bootcamp and my fellow Mamas and Coaches have inspired me to challenge myself to train for 5Ks and a triathalon. Now Mama Bootcamp is scheduled on the calendar and is a normal part of our week. For me, the extra tri training classes are an added bonus. We love the friends we have made and how the Mamas encourage each other. It's now a way of life!
