mojo stories… Giovanna S.
Motivation to get up in the morning.
Prior to coming to Mama Bootcamp, I was a woman who would look at herself in the mirror and become very emotional. I had become very unhappy with myself. I would continuously complain about my stomach, arms, thighs, and overall appearance. It came to the point where my body would always hurt from being overweight. Due to lack of motivation and no self-confidence, I wouldn't exercise and had lost all hope of ever getting back into shape.
Then in September of 2012, my sister told me about Mama Bootcamp. She had been going for months and she looked great. That is when I decided that I needed to take my life back and to do that I would need to start exercising. I began losing inches and my body was becoming toned and stronger… it was amazing! Exercising in this atmosphere, with all these woman trying to achieve the same goal as myself, was inspiring and gave me the motivation to get up in the morning.
This also changed my family’s life. Seeing my change motivated my husband to begin working out again, and he has even quit smoking. We eat healthier now, and therefore the kids have become healthier. I have never felt better and happier with my body. My body no longer hurts and isn't in pain anymore. To date, I have lost 78 total inches and 31 pounds. I believe in myself again and enjoy looking at myself in the mirror. Seeing myself now has given me confidence on so many levels and that is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
Thank you Lorri Ann and everyone at Mama Bootcamp… you have changed my life in the most positive way!
